Do you already know how to work with ceramics and want to create objects, but lack the necessary equipment?
Open Lab Materia Ceramica offers you the opportunity to use a fully equipped workshop to shape your creations and fire them.

How Does Open Lab work?

Book a session and come to our workshop, bringing your apron, tea towel, and any personal tools you may need. Our workshop already provides red clay and white earthenware, but you are welcome to bring other types of clay if needed.
The only rule is to leave the spaces and equipment as you found them, clean and tidy.
Once you have finished shaping your object, you can return later for its decoration and finishing. After that, we will take care of firing the object, keeping in mind that:
1. The pieces must be completely dry.
2. You will need to provide us with firing details of the pice, as specified on the packaging of the clay used.
3. The materials you use may not be compatible with our glaze or finishes.
4. The kiln has a capacity of 66 liters (52x40cm).
5. The maximum temperature the kiln can reach is 1320°C.
You also have the option to bring your pieces solely for kiln firing.
