Description

Ceramic Lamp “Umbrian Landscape” has a flattened, spherical-shaped base created on a lathe by a master artisan from Deruta.

White glaze is used to cover the porous surface of the clay. The green Umbrian hills, yellow grain fields, red poppy fields and greens of various crops emerge from the white glaze as if chasing and cover the entire circumference.

The shape adds a sense of depth to the landscape painted by Maria Antonietta Taticchi.
