The decoration of the Visions ceramic dinner plate represents glimpses of Umbrian landscapes that emerge vividly on the white glazed ceramic. Here the artist paints the perceptions that the warm shades of colour of the Umbrian territory arouse in her. The intense green of the hills, the bright blue of the watercourses, the yellow of the sunflower fields and the brown of the ploughed land and small villages outline panoramas that are evocative visions for the eyes and the heart. Sitting at the table thus becomes a journey of the imagination among the rolling hills of the Green Heart of Italy.

Each plate is a unique piece. 100% handmade ceramic plates

Materia Ceramica’s majolica plates are exclusive pieces made entirely by hand, and thus objects that reflect the work, creativity and passion of the craftsman. They are made and painted at the tip of the brush by master craftsman Maria Antonietta Taticchi, who learned the secrets of the trade in a workshop in Deruta, a town renowned for the art of ceramics.

Grandma’s advice

A ceramic dinner plate Visions is durable and can be washed in the dishwasher. However, avoid high-temperature washing which could soften the enamel and allow metal cutlery to leave marks on its surface.
You can remove the marks left by cutlery, for example, by simply washing the plate with varichin, and that’s it!
We advise you to treat ceramic dishes with care. Do not damage the enamel by using abrasive sponges, do not bump them especially when loading them into the dishwasher and do not drop them! However, should one break, it won’t be a problem!
